Coaches

Sam - Founder & Coach

GYMNASTICS HAS ALWAYS BEEN PART OF MY LIFE.

I grew up in gymnastics and competed at national level. Later, I found CrossFit and spent years coaching functional fitness, eventually earning my CrossFit Level 3.

Along the way, I saw two worlds that had so much to offer each other. Gymnastics brings technique, patience and the satisfaction of truly learning a skill. Functional training brings strength, intensity and a completely different way to challenge yourself.

StandOut grew from wanting to bring those worlds together — while holding on to something we often lose as adults: the freedom to play, explore and keep learning.

As a coach, I love breaking movements down, finding the progression that makes something click and helping people achieve things they once thought were out of reach.

For me, great coaching isn’t about showing you what I can do. It’s about helping you discover what you can do.

Olivia - Coach

A LIFETIME OF GYMNASTICS — AND ENERGY TO MATCH.

Originally from Scotland, Olivia has been part of the gymnastics world from a young age — as a gymnast, coach and judge. Her experience has travelled with her too, through Denmark, Germany, Egypt, Vietnam and now the Netherlands.

She has coached both adults and kids and brings years of gymnastics knowledge to the StandOut floor. These days, you’ll mostly find her with our Kids — and that’s where her energy, enthusiasm and playful coaching style really stand out.

Olivia knows how to get kids moving, laughing and excited to give things a try. Her classes are full of encouragement and fun, while still building the strong gymnastics foundations, body awareness and skills that help kids progress.

She creates the kind of environment where kids feel free to try, make mistakes, try again and be proud of what they can do.

For Olivia, gymnastics should build skills and confidence — but never lose the joy of moving along the way.

EYAL — COACH

POWER, PRECISION AND WORLD-LEVEL GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE.

Originally from Israel, Eyal has been involved in gymnastics since childhood. He built strong foundations early on, earned his coaching qualification and went on to train and compete nationally and internationally in tumbling and double mini trampoline — including at World Championship level.

That experience gives him a deep understanding of power, technique, timing and body control, especially on floor, tumbling and trampoline.

Eyal is a highly technical coach, but never takes a one-size-fits-all approach. He knows that everyone moves, learns and responds differently, and adapts his coaching to the person in front of him.

He combines high-level gymnastics experience with a thoughtful approach to movement, discipline and confidence — helping athletes understand not just what to do, but how to build the skill step by step.

For Eyal, great coaching means turning world-level experience into progress that fits the athlete in front of him.

LOVE COACHING? LET’S TALK.

StandOut is growing, and we’re always interested in meeting coaches who love gymnastics, movement and helping people learn.

We care about technical knowledge, but great coaching is about more than knowing the right progression. It’s about seeing the person in front of you, bringing energy to the floor and knowing when to challenge, encourage or give someone the space to figure things out.

At StandOut, coaches aren’t there just to run a program. We want you to bring your own experience, ideas and personality to the floor.

If that sounds like the way you like to coach, we’d love to hear from you.
